Bio

I used to journal a lot, but as I got older, entries became scattered over time, servers, sub-directories, until I felt like- what's the point? I might as well write and toss it out my car window while crossing the Bay Bridge. But rereading things I wrote is hardly the point. I crave the process of writing, the suprise of what shows up. Confessional writing has resulted in comments like "oooh, you're so brave!" from those who I show stuff to, giving me a double hit of "I'm so strong!" and "I'm a blathering idiot to tell anyone this stuff!" When I read other people's writing, I never think them idiots (well, almost never). I think "Thank you for reminding me what it can be to be human." So here you go. I am finally inspired by my friends to express that endless running commentary in my head. Oh, yeah, and heart (the messy stuff).
